"Se Dejo Del Novio" is a reggaeton track that captures the experiences women face when they break up with their boyfriends. Ironically, the song was recorded in 2019 as part of the Lost Files that never came out. Just as the release date was approaching, Karell's high school lover, whom he hadn't spoken to in years, reached out to inform him that she had broken up with her boyfriend. Despite everything being set for the song's release, Karell decided not to mention the track to her until two days before its release. He did this to avoid bringing back past controversies that contributed to their breakup.
